Beast Mode Wrestling Club took down reigning champion Seasons Wrestling Club 36-28 to win the Freestyle State Duals.

Beast Mode notched a 48-20 win over Beat the Streets Cleveland, stopped Seasons’ C squad 54-10 and grabbed a 37-29 over Burnett Trained to set up a championship match with the Seasons’ A team.

Rylen Wax (100 pounds), Zane Russell (106), Loc Webber (113), Tommy Wurstler (120), Zion Birden (126), Marius Garcia (126), Blaze Van Gundy (132), Grayson Debevoise (138), Anthony Oscar (144), Isaiah Callahan (150), Nick Piontkowski (157), Jacob Piantkowski (165), Kile Sentieri (175), John Manley (175), Mason Parrill (215) and Clayton Shipley (285) helped notch the state title.

Wax, Rusell, Webber, Wurster, Van Gundy, Oscar, Nick Piontkowski, Manley and Shipley won their bouts in the title match.

Seasons, which had won 13 of the last 15 state duals, finished second. Burnett Trained was third.
